This standard does not include requirements for performance or functional characteristics of equipment.
IEC 62368-1 is the new hazard safety standard that will permanently replace both IEC 60065 and IEC 60950-1. A/V and ICT equipment needs to comply with 62368-1 requirement in order to be sold in North America and Europe, and, eventually, globally.
